Had the absolute pleasure of crafting the visual identity, gig posters, and branded shirts for Rhinn, a new powerhouse Scottish traditional band.
The goal was to move away from stereotypical, polite folk imagery and tap straight into the raw, high-energy grit of their sound. I developed a custom, fluid logotype paired with an organic stamp texture, anchored by a silhouette emblem of Islay celebrating their island roots.
For the launch gigs at the Port Charlotte and Bridgend Hotels, we leaned hard into high-contrast halftones and striking duotone palettes to make sure these posters cut through the noise on the street and on the feed.
Gig posters are printed on heavy 170gsm uncoated stock to give the vibrant orange and blue duotone halftones a beautiful, tactile matte finish. With high-density screen prints on heavy-cotton slate blue tees for the shirts.
